石英砂滤料简介
石英砂是一种坚硬、耐磨、化学性能稳定的硅酸盐矿物，其主要矿物成分是SiO2，石英砂的颜色为乳白色或无色半透明状，硬度7，性脆无解理，贝壳状断口，油脂光泽，相对密度为2.65，其化学、热学和机械性能具有明显的异向性，不溶于酸，微溶于KOH溶液，熔点1750℃。颜色呈乳白色、淡黄、褐色及灰色，石英有较高的耐火性能，分为:普通石英砂，精制石英砂，酸洗石英砂，高纯石英砂等。
石英砂滤料不仅是单层过滤的最佳材料，而且和无烟煤滤料作双层过滤最为理想。精制石英砂滤料适用于生活饮用水过滤和其它水质净化处理，更加适合于石油、化工、矿山、冶金、热电、造纸、印染、制革、食品等生产用水的前期处理和循环水处理，以及污水的回收利用。
石英砂滤料分类
1、普通石英砂滤料：主要用在污水处理中，用三五年都没问题，只要防止石英砂流失就行，被污染了不要紧，因为污水处理中，污泥可以进行好氧或者厌氧呼吸，将污水中的污染物降解。
2、精制石英砂滤料：用在纯水处理中，在砂滤器中，一般2到3年就要更换，通常被污染后，污染物包住石英砂就不能再起到很好的过滤作用了，只能更换。石英砂滤料通过Iso9001-2000质量体系认证。在中性及值在范围内的酸性水中都很稳定，但在碱性水中有微溶解，化学水处理中SiO2增量不超过2mg/L。

石英砂滤料用途
普通快滤池、无阀滤池、三阀滤池、虹吸滤池、V型滤池、双层及三层滤料滤池、粗滤料反粒度过滤池，也可用于压力净水器、滤罐 化工、石油、冶金、热电、造纸、印染行业所需滤料以及污水处理厂。
石英砂磨料用途
1、玻璃：平板玻璃、浮法玻璃、玻璃制品（玻璃罐、玻璃瓶、玻璃管等）、光学玻璃、玻璃纤维、玻璃仪器、导电玻璃、玻璃布及防射线特种玻璃等的主要原料。
2、陶瓷及耐火材料：瓷器的胚料和釉料，窑炉用高硅砖、普通硅砖以及碳化硅等的原料。
3、冶金：硅金属、硅铁合金和硅铝合金等的原料或添加剂、熔剂
4、建筑：混凝土、胶凝材料、筑路材料、人造大理石、水泥物理性能检验材料（即水泥标准砂）等
